Reg Trim made just one senior appearance in a four-year spell with Arsenal.
The left back arrived at Highbury as a 20-year-old hopeful in April 1933 but took two years to make his one and only senior appearance.
That came in the form of a 1-0 home defeat to Derby on the final day of the 1934/35 campaign.
Trim had previously captained England Schoolboys in 1928 but struggled to live up to his early-career promise. He later transferred to Nottingham Forest in July 1937 after over 150 appearances in the London Combination League for Arsenal.
