WHAT THE FANS SAID:
I remember Meade breaking into the side in a barren scoring period for the team in autumn 1981 and hitting a headed winner against John Bond's Man City. Also I recall a brace against Tottenham on Boxing Day a year or so later and a hat-trick at Highbury soon after Terry Neill was sacked - possibly against Watford. For me he was a much under-used player.
