Paul Rodgers made his sole first-team appearance for Arsenal in their League Cup quarter-final against Burnley in 2008/09.
The defender played the opening 45 minutes before being substituted for Henri Lansbury at half time.
Rodgers had progressed through the academy after joining Arsenal in 2005.
But he struggled to make an impact in the senior team and joined Northampton on loan in 2009.
He was released by Arsenal that summer and signed for the Cobblers on a permanent deal before transferring to Newport County in 2011.
