Neil Heaney

England U21 winger Neil Heaney was a member of George Graham's squad at Arsenal.

A former trainee at Highbury, he helped the Gunners win the FA Youth Cup in 1988 and signed professionally in November 1989.

He featured in Arsenal's 1989/90 Football Combination title triumph and played seven League games prior to joining Southampton for £300,000 in March 1994.

Moving to Manchester City for £500,000 in November 1996, he joined Darlington in August 1999 and featured in the 1999/2000 Third Division play-off final.

He then played for Dundee United before joining Plymouth Argyle where injury ended his career. (With thanks to Leigh Edwards)
