Mark Flatts

England Youth winger Mark Flatts was a young member of George Graham's squad at Arsenal.

He became a trainee at Highbury after graduating from the FA's National School of Excellence and signed professional in December 1990.

Given his league debut in the Gunners' 1-1 draw at Sheffield United in September 1992, he failed to secure a regular first-team slot and was loaned to Cambridge United, Brighton, Bristol City and Grimsby Town.

He made 16 Premiership appearances for Arsenal and had a trial with Torino before briefly joining Kettering Town in December 1996, subsequently playing for Bishop's Stortford. (With thanks to Leigh Edwards)
