Len Wills first joined Arsenal as an amateur from Eton Manor in March 1946, before serving National Service in the RAF for two years later.
Wills eventually re-signed at Highbury as a professional in October 1949, going on to make 209 starts in his 13-year spell at the Club.
The Hackney-born full back made his senior league debut against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in October 1953, before bowing out against Cardiff City at Highbury eight years later in 1961.
During his time at Arsenal, Wills won the 1953/54 FA Charity Shield.
He retired at the end of the 1961/62 campaign after featuring briefly for Romford. He later ran a sports shop in Southgate before moving into the hardware and DIY business.
