John Garton

John Garton was never on the losing side in an Arsenal shirt.
 
The right back joined the Club as an amateur in March 1899 and made five appearances while regular full back Alex Mcconnell was injured.
 
Garton made his debut against Loughbrough on March 13 and Woolwich Arsenal went on a five-game unbeaten run while he was in the side.
 
Mcconnell was restored when he returned from injury and Garton left in April.
