James Blair

James Blair joined Arsenal from Kilmarnock in May 1905.

The inside forward enjoyed a successful debut against Liverpool, scoring on the opening day of the season in a 3-1 victory.

Blair netted in his next match against Sheffield United and scored once more before the season's end. He played 12 times over the campaign.

A solitary appearance would follow in the next season before Blair transferred to Manchester City in November 1906.

He later played for Bradford City and Stockport County before tragically taking his own life in 1913.
