Fred Jones joined Arsenal from the Royal Navy in May 1923.
The inside forward made his league debut in a 4-1 defeat to Burnley on the penultimate day of the 1923/24 season but made his final appearance one game later against Preston.
He left that year and went on to play for Aberdare Athletic, Charlton Athletic and Blackpool.
