Fred Davis joined Arsenal from Birmingham St George's in September 1893.
Davis was part of the first Gunners team to ply its trade in the Football League after Woolwich Arsenal became the first southern club to join.
The wing half spent six years at the Club and played 150 times after making his debut in Arsenal's second-ever league match.
Davis quickly established himself and became a mainstay in the first team before leaving for Nottingham Forest in 1889.
