Edward Anderson

Edward Anderson had the most fleeting of Arsenal careers.

Born in Scotland, he started out as an outside-left for St. Mirren before joining Arsenal in November 1903.

An appearance in a senior friendly against the Army soon followed and Anderson made his League debut at Stockport on New Year's Day 1904.

The following day Anderson played again - in a 2-2 draw at Blackpool. But that was his final first-team appearance for Arsenal.

The Club's regular outside-left, William Linward, was restored to the side and Anderson moved on again, this time to Fulham, later in 1904.
