Arthur Biggs was a prolific striker in Arsenal's Reserve team and he also made three appearances for the Gunners' senior side.
He joined the Club as an amateur in October 1933 and turned professional two months later. He spent three-and-a-half seasons in the Reserves before making his full debut.
The forward was at the heart of the second-string's success in the Football Combination in the 1936/37 season, and his strike rate earned him a call into the first team that March when he started in a goalless draw away at Stoke.
That season Biggs netted a then Club record 41 goals for the Reserves.
The following campaign he started first-team matches at Bolton and at Highbury against West Brom but in December 1937 Biggs was transferred to Hearts for a fee of £2,500.
