Andrew Farr

Andrew Farr was the captain of Arsenal's Southern League side in 1938/39.

The inside forward joined from Margate in December 1937 but did not make his league debut until the end of the following season in a 2-1 win over Derby County.

He played in the final game of the campaign against Brentford and scored once in his two games for the Club.

That was the final season before the outbreak of the Second World War, where Farr was as a munitions worker in Scotland.

He transferred to Airdrieonians in August 1940.
