Abe Hartley

Abe Hartley joined Woolwich Arsenal in July 1899 after successful spells with Everton and Southampton.

The forward, an FA Cup runner-up with the Toffees in 1897, spent five months with the Club after making his debut in a 2-0 defeat to Walsall in September 1899.

Hartley played nine times, scoring once.

He transferred to Burnley in December 1899.
