Eddie Nketiah will continue his journey with us after agreeing a new long-term contract at the club.

Read on as we revisit our Hale End graduate's time with us since he joined in 2013:

Hale End (2013-2015)

Eddie joined us in July 2013 at the start of his under-15 year and had two seasons at Hale End before he went to London Colney as a full-time scholar.

He was a prolific finisher during his time playing for our academy sides, scoring an impressive 39 goals in 39 appearances for our under-18s.

Eddie then effortlessly made the step up to our under-23s and continued to shine, scoring 27 goals in 41 appearances. He also netted three times for the under-19 side and once for the under -21s.

First-team debut (2017)

Eddie made his senior debut for us on September 28, 2017, in our Europa League group stage match against BATE Borisov.

Eddie came on as an 89th-minute substitute, replacing Joe Willock, as we won 4–2 away from home in Belarus.

First senior goals (2017)

One month after making his senior debut, on October 22, 2017, Eddie featured in the League Cup against Norwich City, where he came on as an 85th-minute substitute and scored just 15 seconds later to level the match.

Eddie then rounded off his remarkable showing at Emirates Stadium by scoring the winner in extra-time, as we progressed through to the next round with a 2-1 victory over the Canaries.

First Premier League goal (2019)

Eddie scored his first Premier League goal on the last day of the 2018/19 season, against Burnley on May 12, 2019.

Eddie's strike came in the 94th minute as we beat Burnley 3-1 at Turf Moor.

First senior hat-trick (2021)

Eddie scored the first senior hat-trick of his career on December 21, 2021, as we beat Sunderland 5-1 in the League Cup quarter-final.

Our striker displayed his poacher instincts on the night, scoring all three inside the box, the pick of the bunch a classy back-heel flick to complete his hat-trick.

Brace at Stamford Bridge (2022)

Eddie marked his return to his former club Chelsea in impressive fashion and scored a brace as we beat our London rivals 3-1 on April 20, 2022.

Finishes the season in style (2022)

Eddie capped his impressive season with a well-taken header in our 5-1 win over Everton on the final day of the campaign on May 22, 2022.
