WHAT HAPPENED
We were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea in the U-18 Premier League at Cobham on Saturday.
Dan Micciche was unable to call upon Marcelo Flores, who is away on international duty, and the Mexican's absence was felt.
Amani Richards had the game's first real chance, his effort well saved by Prince Adegoke after some good work from Charles Sagoe Jr in the build-up.
We took the lead moments later, Khayon Edwards picking out Amario Cozier-Duberry in the box, who showed great composure to find the bottom right-hand corner.
The home side scored an immediate equaliser, turning over possession after a good press from Tudor Mendel-Idowu, who squared the ball across the box for Leo Castledine to tap-in unmarked.
We found ourselves trailing midway through the first half, Mendel-Idowu getting himself on the scoresheet when he bundled home from close range.
Chelsea extended their advantage after the break, Malik Mothersille with an accomplished finish beyond Remy Mitchell after an impressive solo run.
The hosts scored their fourth of the afternoon 10 minutes from the final whistle, Derrick Abu picking out the unmarked Louis Flower for a tap-in after some poor defending.
WHAT IT MEANS
We stay sixth in the U-18 Premier League after 11 matches.
WHAT'S NEXT
