Samuel impressed for our under-17s at the Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil last season, showcasing himself as a centre back who reads the game well and is composed in possession. He then played 84 minutes of our 5-2 win against Fulham on his under-18s debut in the U18 Premier League, as well as being involved in our U18 Premier League Cup game against Middlesbrough. Samuel (formerly known as Samuel Chinedu) has been with the club from the age of 11, when he joined from Watford.
