Central defender Samuel has natural leadership skills and featured for our under-17s at the Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil last season. Samuel, who joined the club as a 10 year old at the Hale End Academy, was part of our side that beat Flamengo 2-1 and played games against Sao Paulo, Atletico Nacional and Santos Laguna. He went on to make his under-18s debut for us last season, playing at left back against Fulham.
