Silky midfielder Gedion enjoyed a highly-successful first season in senior football on loan at Glasgow Rangers last season.

The Berlin-born playmaker helped the Gers gain promotion to the Scottish Premier League by winning the Scottish Championship. Gedion finished his spell in Scotland with a Scottish Cup runners up medal, after scoring in the shootout to defeat Celtic in the semi-final.

The central midfielder has played at youth level for Germany, but is also eligible for the United States national team, having grown up in America, and has represented them at under-23 level.

He made his Arsenal senior debut in January 2014, aged just 16, as a sub against Coventry in the FA Cup. He made his Champions League debut later that year, and featured regularly at youth level prior to his loan spell last season.
