David is Liam’s right-hand man - and has a peerless knowledge of all things related to the Gunners’ youth set-up.
He progressed through the ranks himself en route to becoming a professional player for Arsenal – debuting in 1962 and playing 175 league games, primarily in midfield, over the course of a decade.
He proceeded to play for Luton Town and Brentford before returning to the Club in 1996 after a spell working in the financial sector. His shrewd eye is cast widely across the Academy’s activities - watching games, overseeing training and working closely with the current intake of young players.
Working in tandem with Liam, he helps ensure that Arsenal’s youth operation is as broad, sophisticated and innovative as any in the world.
