Arsène Wenger has made one change from the 7-1 victory over Blackburn for Arsenal's clash against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Bacary Sagna replaces Francis Coquelin at right back, while Kieran Gibbs returns to the squad after his lay-off with injury.
Tomas Rosicky retains his place in midfield alongside Mikel Arteta and Alex Song, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also starts once more after an impressive string of performances.
Team in full: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Song, Arteta, Rosicky, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Van Persie.
Substitutes: Fabianski, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Arshavin, Benayoun, Henry.
