Vito Mannone is fully focused on fighting for his place in the Arsenal side after a successful loan spell at Hull City.
The Italian goalkeeper spent the second half of last season at the KC Stadium and excelled either side of a two-month lay-off through injury.
Since returning to Arsenal, Mannone has played a full part in pre-season and is ready to challenge Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski for the No 1 spot.
"It's going well," he told Arsenal.com. "I'm focused here. I'm having a good pre-season with Arsenal and I'm trying to fight hard for the place.
"I've enjoyed pre-season - there is a bit more focus on the training and the fans have been incredible, especially when we went to Asia."
