Sheffield United 2-4 Birmingham City, October 24
Nicklas Bendtner and Sebastian Larsson both netted on Tuesday as Birmingham came from behind to shock Premiership Sheffield United in the Carling Cup Third Round at Bramall Lane.

Ade Akinbiyi put Neil Warnock's side in front on 21 minutes before DJ Campbell's fortuitous equaliser four minutes before the break. On 70 minutes Bendtner calmly rounded goalkeeper Ian Bennett to put the Championship side ahead, and nine minutes later Cameron Jerome extended the lead. United's Nick Montgomery rifled home from 25-yards with five minutes remaining to ensure a tense finish, but Larsson notched in injury time to secure Birmingham's passage to the next round.

Larsson and Arsenal's other loanee, Fabrice Muamba, played a full 90 minutes for Steve Bruce's side. Danish starlet Bendtner was introduced as a 58th-minute substitute.
