Arsenal.com's Nick Teale uses the Bettorlogic form lab to analyse the statistics ahead of this Wednesday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
An upturn in Liverpool's form has seen them move to within five points of Arsenal, a gap that can be further cut when the Reds travel to Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
But their record at other 'Big Four' grounds under Rafael Benitez tells that they average just 0.56 points per game. In five visits they are yet to win a League fixture at Arsenal under the Spaniard.
But the Reds' stats are perhaps blurred by the fact that they lost their first nine games at other 'Big Four' grounds under Benitez. Over the last 18 months they have lost just one of four such trips.
After a shaky start to their season, Liverpool have stabilised of late and are now unbeaten in seven Premier League games, conceding just one League goal since Christmas.
But it is on their travels that the Reds have struggled this term. Of the 44 points they have collected just 15 have come away from Anfield, with a win rate of one in three.
Steven Gerrard is widely believed to be one of their most influential players, and that stats back that up. Liverpool have picked up just one point from the three away games he has missed this season, and they have picked up 24 per cent more away points when he has started, compared to the team average this term.
Gael Clichy has started eight times for Arsenal at home to 'Big Four' opposition, and the stats show that the Gunners have conceded 29 per cent fewer goals in those games compared to the team's average since the summer of 2004.
As a result, Arsenal have also picked up 33 per cent more points with the French full back in the starting XI.
