The new away kit for the 2010/2011 season is out from today, July 13, through official Club stores and via www.arsenal.com.
While the yellow reflects the Gunners' past, the redcurrant pinstripes and cuff-style sleeves echo design features further back in the Club's heritage to its Woolwich Arsenal days.
The reverse of the club badge on shirts reveals the motto ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit', which translates as ‘Victory Through Harmony', while redcurrant shorts and yellow socks complete the look.
Combining traditional elements with cutting-edge technology, every shirt is made entirely from recycled polyester, each crafted from up to eight plastic water bottles as part of Nike's ‘Considered Design' programme.
The improved Nike Dri-Fit fabric, now 13 per cent lighter than previous kits, helps to quickly evaporate moisture by drawing through the fabric to the surface and keep players dry.
The Armoury, All Arsenal, Arsenal Finsbury Park and Arsenal Enfield are all open from 09.00 to 17.30 on launch day.
