LADIES WEEK

Jayne Ludlow... looks back on treble-winning campaign

Ladies Week: Ludlow's review of the season

Jayne Ludlow was one of the driving forces behind a magnificent season for Arsenal Ladies.

With Faye White troubled by a knee injury, Jayne took the armband for the business end of the campaign as the Ladies shrugged off the loss of a number of senior players to win a domestic treble.

In this exclusive two-part interview, the Welsh midfielder reflects on a rollercoaster 2008/09 campaign.

Part one
Jayne on losing so many key players, failing to make a mark in Europe, the shadow of the United States professional league, taking on extra responsibility as a senior player and captain, and winning the first trophy at the League Cup Final

Part two

Jayne on the character of the squad, Arsenal’s incredible record in FA Cup Finals, that title decider at Everton, the incredible buzz it gave her, celebrating after the game, and the challenge facing Arsenal next season

Subscribers can watch both parts of this interview on Arsenal TV Online.
