Oscar Pareja has been appointed as the new Head Coach for Colorado Rapids, Arsenal's partner club in the MLS.

The Rapids won the MLS Cup for the first time in 2010 under Gary Smith but the English coach left in November.

Pareja, his replacement, was unveiled at a press conference at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Thursday.

The former FC Dallas defender and assistant coach made 189 appearances during his MLS career and won 11 international caps for Colombia.
