It's not often that two of the largest football leagues are broadcasted LIVE back-to-back on one of America's top four cable channels. I take that back, it has never happened.

As an Arsenal fan through and though, and also a NY Giants football fan, Sunday is a day that could down in history. It's a day that, yes, I have to admit, I'm afraid to live through.

You see FOX, here in the United States, has taken the huge step of embracing the beautiful game by televising the Arsenal vs. Manchester United game on its main network. LIVE! This is the first time they have ever broadcasted an EPL game LIVE.

It's an amazing step, one that will hopefully see them do the game right and not make it too NFL Football-ish. American viewers know exactly what I mean.

On the back-end of the telecast is the Divisional Championship game between my beloved New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. A game that decides who from the National Football Conference will play in the Super Bowl.

It's a massive game. Both are massive games. Both will no doubt cause me great joy and quite possibly long-term pain. But as a supporter for both teams, it is a historic day that I hope to remember for the rest of my life. A day the Arsenal turned their season around and a day the Giants returned to the Super Bowl.

Thank you, FOX, for bringing the footballing worlds together!
