You gotta love social media. It's a great resource for information -- and most of all entertainment. Reactionary emotions that builds like a hurricane over the Atlantic. Yesterday it was reported that KOS suffered an injury. A "serious looking" injury.
Then the flood gates of retweets, copying and pasting opened. It was highly comical. Everyone became a reporter (and doctor) who witnessed the knee knocking between KOS and Ribery.
Now it may well have looked bad, but what that simple tweet did was create an emotional outbreak of hate for France and concern for our prized player, BUT without the whole story. It even made its way to Facebook where people were cursing the international break, calling for Deschamps' head.
I guess the learning from yesterday is that we love the club, we're passionate about the club, love our players, but in the end, why scream from the top of the mountain because of one person's tweet?
Just because he or she has a press badge doesn't make them a doctor.
