The Arsenal 2012 Tour, presented by Emirates, was a landmark event for both club and supporters and provided a special opportunity for Arsenal to connect with its millions of fans across Asia and Africa, many of whom had never seen the team live in action.

As presenting partner of the tour, Emirates facilitated a number of key events aimed at giving existing fans an opportunity to experience Arsenal like never before, whilst winning over many new fans in the process. Kids coaching clinics were hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing and Hong Kong, allowing young fans the unforgettable chance to meet and train with their heroes. Those not lucky enough to train with the team were able to watch them at a series of open training sessions in each host city.

Emirates and Arsenal started their journey together back in 2004 and our main aim has always been to bring Arsenal closer to its millions of loyal fans across the six continents that we fly to

In Beijing, First Team Manager Arsène Wenger and club Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis hosted an exclusive business networking event for 50 select clients and business owners, with topics spanning; identifying and developing talent, building a world class organisation and creating a winning team.

Meanwhile, a series of media promotions offered further opportunities for fans to meet the team, with one lucky Chinese fan, James Quing Guo, winning a trip to London to present academy player Thomas Eisfeld with his Player of the Tour award, ahead of the Arsenal v Chelsea game in September 2012.
