Table tennis is the ideal sport for fun, fitness and health for people aged between 5 and 95. 300 million people play worldwide! Table tennis is a sociable sport enjoyed everywhere by everyone, it requires physical fitness with speed, agility and quick reactions.

It is an Olympic sport, being fast, dynamic and highly competitive, table tennis is a special blend of mental agility, subtle tactics and explosive power. The sport is suitable for youngsters of all standards and abilities, virtually injury free and almost no cost as equipment is very cheap.

All this is why table tennis is one of the world’s most popular sports, with more than 200 countries within the International Federation and why China made it their nation’s sport 50 years ago and where more than 200 million people play regularly.

Arsenal Premier League 4 Sport Table Tennis is currently running in 6 satellite clubs. Below are the dates and times of each session:

Mondays - Highbury Fields Girls School, Islington - 3.30-4.45pm

Mondays - New Kingshold Community Centre, Hackney - 5.00-7.00pm

Tuesdays – St Mary Magdalene Academy, Islington – 4.30-6.00pm

Wednesdays – William Ellis School, Camden – 4.15-5.45pm

Thursdays - Haverstock School, Chalk Farm - 4.15-5.45pm

Fridays - St Aloysius College, Highgate - 4.30-6.00pm

Arsenal in the Community is very fortunate to have a number of community HUB clubs in Table Tennis. Finsbury Table Tennis Club runs out of Finsbury Leisure Centre, Old Street by Sanket Shah. Finsbury runs its own junior and adult leagues on a weekly basis. The newly formed Arsenal Community Table Tennis Club came as the result of the success of one of our PL4S satellite clubs.
