Arsenal in the Community Double Club coach Steve Eadon had the chance to meet with Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi at a Premier Skills programme in Myanmar in May 2014.

Steve was helping to train local coaches, as part of the Premier League and British Council run scheme.

The leader of the National League for Democracy party came to see the programme in action at Thuwanna Stadium’s Youth Training Centre, in Yangon, the country’s biggest city and former capital.

The programme was part of a global Premier League Skills initiative, which has so far helped to train 2,300 coaches and referees in 23 countries across Asia, Africa and the Americas.
