Speaking on October 16, ahead of the Hull City game, Arsene Wenger said: "We have been hit a bit hard with Koscielny coming back and his achilles being worse, and of course discovering the Ozil injury which we thought was nothing because he finished the Chelsea game. He is out for a while now."

If he doesn’t, it’ll be six weeks, if he does need surgery it’ll be three months. At the moment we don’t know."
