Perhaps this is the season in which Nacer will make a lasting impression on the Arsenal first team.
Having earned two appearances for Arsène Wenger’s seniors in 2007/08, and scoring in the traditional season curtain raiser against Barnet, the creative Dutchman spent the whole of last term on loan at Championship outfit Derby County.
He scored once in 36 appearances for the Rams and also featured against Manchester United in the Carling Cup Semi-Final at Old Trafford. During his time at Pride Park, Nacer was used mainly on the right wing but he has been used all across the midfield and up front during his time in the Arsenal Academy.
The talented forward is also a regular for Holland’s Under-19s.
