48. Mark Randall

Go

No one made more Reserve-team appearances than Mark last term and his four goals saw him top the second-string goalscoring chart.

Following Gavin Hoyte’s January loan departure, Neil Banfield named Mark as his Reserve team captain and some typically stylish displays in Arsenal’s engine room helped steer the Gunners to a respectable sixth-place finish in Reserve League South.

As well as starting all three of Arsenal’s Carling Cup fixtures, the creative midfielder earned a Champions League debut against FC Twente in August and followed it up with a second outing against FC Porto at the Group Stage.

The 19-year-old finished the season on a high, coming off the bench in Arsenal’s classy 3-0 victory at Portsmouth in May.
