Gifted teenager Henri was another member of Arsenal’s Academy to gain valuable first-team experience on loan last season.

After impressing in the Under-18s and Reserves at the start of 2008/09, the tenacious midfielder moved north to Scunthorpe for three months. In total, Henri scored five goals in 17 appearances for ‘the Iron’, including a start in their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final defeat at Wembley.

However, silverware did not elude him last season; upon his return he started for Steve Bould’s Under-18s in their victorious Youth Cup and Academy League Finals. Henri was also a force for the England Under-19s and was handed the captain’s armband by manager Brian Eastick for their clash with Germany in which the starlet capped a fine performance with the winning goal.

In August, Henri joined Championship side Watford until December 31.
