Damian is a talented young goalkeeper who joined the Club from Independiente at the beginning of last season.
The tall Argentine (full name Damian Emiliano Martinez) made five appearances for Steve Bould’s Under-18 side, featured for the Reserves and played both games of Arsenal’s FA Youth Cup campaign last season.
An Argentina youth international who is athletic and a good shot-stopper, the commanding custodian was called up to the senior squad in July for friendlies against Nigeria and Poland, although did not make it onto the field.
