After excelling in the Reserves at the beginning of last season, clinical frontman Benik was thrust into the rigours of League football and spent the majority of the campaign on loan at Huddersfield Town.
Pacy and direct, he was a revelation in the North-West, scoring eight times in 36 appearances during his time at the Galpharm Stadium, and played an important role as the Terriers reached the League One Play-Off Final.
A regular England youth international, Benik was part of the England Under-17 team that won the 2011 European Championships.
He signed a contract extension with Arsenal in June 2011 and played in the pre-season friendly win over Cologne.
