Richard was a trainee in Arsenal’s youth set-up at the start of a playing career that also took the central defender to Brentford and a number of non-league clubs - including Woking and St Albans City.
He is now in his fourth season as physio in the Academy, working closely with Lewis but based at Hale End for the majority of the week.
He began his medical qualifications in 2002, subsequently working in a private clinic before a spell at north London’s Whittington Hospital.
