Young goalkeeper signs new long term contract
Arsenal can confirm that young Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has signed a new long term contract with the Club.
Polish Youth International Szczesny (18), signed professional terms with the Club in summer 2007 and accelerated his development under Steve Bould, making a total of 23 appearances for the Under-18s last season, excelling as the youngsters topped their Academy division.
Wojciech has already featured for the Arsenal first team in the pre-season friendly against Barnet in July and also had a taste of top-flight football, appearing for his former club Legia Warsaw when he was just 15.
Everyone at Arsenal wishes Wojciech continued success during his time with the Club.
