The Arsenal Under-18s extended their lead at the top of the Premier Academy League Table with a 2-0 win at Ipswich.
Arsenal were up against a resolute Ipswich backline and Steve Bould's boys found it hard to find the opener. They had to wait until 12 minutes from time for their first goal. Rhys Murphy, who ploughed a lone furrow in the Arsenal attack, slotted the visitors ahead after good work from Emmanuel Frimpong down the left-hand side.
Six minute later it was Rhys Murphy who doubled his tally, five days before his 18th birthday, to secure all three points.
