UEFA Under-19 Championship, Caen
Francis Coquelin played 90 minutes and Gilles Sunu also started as France reached the final of the European Under-19 Championships. Les Bleus defeated Croatia 2-1 on Tuesday evening. France went behind in the fourth minute but Gael Kakuta equalised before half time. Substitute Cedric Bakambu struck the winner with seven minutes remaining.

UEFA Under-19 Championship, Saint-Lo
Thomas Cruise played 90 minutes as England Under-19s were knocked out of the European Championships, losing 3-1 to Spain. Daniel Pacheco opened the scoring in the 12th minute and Keko Gallardo extended Spain's lead. John Bostock pulled one back for England in the 37th minute but Sergio Canales' 56th-minute goal saw the Three Lions knocked out.
