Rene Steer has extended his loan with League Two side Gillingham for one further month until 21st March 2009.
The 19 year-old defender, who initially moved to the Kent club at the end of January for one month, was in the Arsenal squad for the Carling Cup match at Burnley in December,.
During his career at Arsenal, Rene, who signed professional terms with in summer 2007, has been a regular at Youth level, making two appearances in Neil Banfield’s Reserves this season after racking up 12 appearances last season with the second string.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Rene the best of luck with his continued stay at Gillingham.
