Young Arsenal striker Philip Roberts has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until January 2013.

The 18-year-old joined the Gunners from Norwich in summer 2010 after impressing while on trial with the Club.

In his first season, the Newham-born attacker made 11 starts for the Under-18s, scoring four goals. Last year, his consistent performances for Steve Bould’s side earned him a call-up to the reserves, where he scored a debut goal against Wolves.

A Republic of Ireland youth international, Philip is known for his strength and ability to bring others into the game. He is also a very capable finisher and proved this last campaign when topping the scoring charts with 10 goals for the Under-18s.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Philip the best of luck during his time with Terry Butcher’s team.

Meanwhile, the Scottish side have signed former Gunner George Brislen-Hall, released by the Gunners this summer.
