Philip Roberts has extended his loan spell with Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of the season, following three promising months in the Scottish Premier League.

The 18-year-old striker made his senior career debut for Terry Butcher’s side as a 71st-minute substitute against Hibernian back in September. Roberts has gone on to feature 12 times for Caley, scoring once, and helping the team to third place in the SPL table.

A Republic of Ireland youth international, Roberts joined the Gunners from Norwich in summer 2010 after impressing on trial. He was the under-18s' top scorer last season.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Philip the best of luck for his continued stay at the Caledonian Stadium.
