Havard Nordtveit... defender joins Nurnberg
Nordtveit joins FC Nurnberg on loan
Arsenal can confirm that Norwegian youth international defender Harvard Nordtveit has joined Bundesliga side FC Nurnberg on loan for the 2009/2010 season.
After joining the Gunners in the summer of 2007 from FK Haugesund and captaining the Reserves during his first season at the Club, Havard (19) sandwiched a short spell in the Reserves last season with two loan periods in Spain and Norway.
The young centre-half started 2008/09 with UD Salamanca in the Spanish second division where he also featured as a defensive midfielder. Harvard then returned in January to make three appearances for Neil Banfield’s side, but was on his travels once again in March when he returned to native Norway for a short-term spell at Tippeligaen outfit Lillestrom.
Everyone at Arsenal would like to wish Harvard the best of luck in his time in Germany with FC Nurnberg.
