Every season a number of Arsenal players go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience.

Vito Mannone played the full 90 minutes for Hull as they beat Sheffield United 3-2 on Sunday. Former Gunner Jay Simpson gave the Tigers a two-goal lead in the first half before Ched Evans scored twice to draw the sides level. Jimmy Bullard won the game three minutes into injury time to move the Arsenal loanee’s side to 15th in the Championship.

Benik Afobe came on as a 54th-minute substitute for Huddersfield as they lost 1-0 against Hartlepool on Sunday. The young striker came on as the Terriers searched for an equaliser after Leon McSweeney had given the away side the lead. Hartlepool held on and Huddersfield remain third in League One.
