Benik Afobe played 87 minutes as Huddersfield drew 1-1 with Bournemouth in the first leg of their League One play-off Semi-Final on Saturday. Kevin Kilbane headed the Arsenal loanee’s side ahead in the 22nd minute but Donal McDermott levelled from range in the second half. Afobe beat the offside trap late on but his powerful shot was beaten away by Shwan Jalal and it ended all-square ahead of the second leg at the Galpharm Stadium on Wednesday.

In the first leg of the Championship play-off Semi-Final, the closest Dave Jones’ side came was from Peter Whittingham’s 25-yard effort. The tie remains finely balanced ahead of the second leg at the Cardiff City Stadium next Tuesday.
