Defender Gavin Hoyte has joined AFC Wimbledon on a one-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old spent much of last season with Lincoln City, where he was an ever-present for the Imps – and will return to League Two hoping to make a similar impact this term with Terry Brown’s side.
Hoyte, who is comfortable at both right back and in central defence, made his Gunners first-team debut in a 6-0 victory over Sheffield United on 23 September 2008, and has gone on to feature four times for Arsène Wenger’s team.
A mainstay of the Reserves in recent years, the former England youth international has played five times for the second string so far this campaign.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Gavin well for his time at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
