Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that four members of the successful Youth League and Cup ‘double’ winning squad have signed professional terms with the Club.
Defenders Luke Ayling (17), Craig Eastmond (18) and Cedric Evina (17), together with goalkeeper James Shea (18) have all made the step up to becoming Professionals with Arsenal Football Club.
All four were regulars with Steve Bould’s successful Youth squad, which won both the FA Premier Academy League and FA Youth Cup last season.
Everyone at the Club is looking forward to the continued contribution and development of Luke, Craig, Cedric and James with Arsenal in the forthcoming years.
The Club can also confirm that eight players have been released after reaching the end of their contracts. We wish Amaury Bischoff, Anton Blackwood, James Dunne, Rui Fonte, Abu Ogogo, Paul Rodgers, Rene Steer and Vincent van den Berg well for their future careers and thank them all for their contributions they made to Arsenal Football Club.
